Winkel Park will return to normal operation once emergency personnel have cleared. We are grateful to the many agencies and responders who assisted in the search and recovery efforts.

Further information will be released by them. No further updates from CPD.

- Roads turned bad, quickly, Chaska. Several of our main roads, including highways 41 & 212, are completely covered with ice due to the freezing rain this morning. Our patrol staff are currently working 7 different vehicle crashes. Slow down. Give yourself extra distance to stop.
- Replying to @ChaskaPD(2/2) The pursuit entered into Chaska and ended after EPPD conducted a pursuit intervention technique (PIT) near the intersection of Audubon Rd. and Stoughton Ave. The driver of the stolen vehicle was arrested by EPPD. No one was injured. We assisted EPPD at the crash scene.
- (1/2) This morning (2/21/26) around 7:50am, you may have noticed a large police presence off of Audubon Rd. A stolen vehicle out of Edina was located in Eden Prairie and fled from the Eden Prairie Police Department (EPPD).
