    Male friendships: The other guy in this ad is my best friend. We grew up together, he officiated my wedding, we talk on the phone 1-2 times a week. Not once did it come up at any point he did a commercial with Simu Liu. Seeing this post while scrolling is how I found out.

    It’s late October in New York. The Yankees and Mets are playing a Subway Series. The Knicks win their opener against Boston, marking them as title contenders. The entire Mayor’s office is being indicted by the Justice Department. Old school New York is back. City buzzing. Chills.

    Good question. We often coordinate reading the same books, watching the same movies/shows, etc. That’s the single topic we probably spend the most time talking about, along with generally talking about current events and observations about contemporary culture.
