Male friendships: The other guy in this ad is my best friend. We grew up together, he officiated my wedding, we talk on the phone 1-2 times a week. Not once did it come up at any point he did a commercial with Simu Liu. Seeing this post while scrolling is how I found out.

It’s late October in New York. The Yankees and Mets are playing a Subway Series. The Knicks win their opener against Boston, marking them as title contenders. The entire Mayor’s office is being indicted by the Justice Department. Old school New York is back. City buzzing. Chills.

Good question. We often coordinate reading the same books, watching the same movies/shows, etc. That’s the single topic we probably spend the most time talking about, along with generally talking about current events and observations about contemporary culture.

For anyone who wants to check out his work, he’s @PhilFamous on TikTok, where he has ~200k followers. He does the most bizarre + unique musical sketch comedy you’ve ever seen, it’s incredible. And yes, he’s also the guy from the new Dos Equis college football ad w/ Chris Fowler.

Before you slander Eli Manning, just remember that if given the chance to take a QB in 2004 that’d start every single game for 14 years and win two Super Bowls, every single franchise in the NFL except the Patriots would do it. And he beat them twice. So maybe be quiet. #ELIte

Coronavirus life: My Grandma lives next door and is totally self-quarantining. So every day we’ve been meeting by the bridge that connects our houses and having conversations 15 feet away from each other.

Now is the time Cashman placates the fanbase by leaking that the Yankees are taking calls on Ohtani, Juan Soto and Nolan Arenado before trading for Tyler O’Neill, who we’ll find out has been quietly battling an injury since April that now needs an IL stint

Cracking up at Mick Jagger walking into the Oscars with the faux-humility, while clearly signaling to everyone that he's the biggest star in the room, and everyone should feel grateful he decided to be there. They just don't make stars like that anymore. No one better.
