    To the young man who yelled “N****r” to my 70y/o aunt this morning as she went for her walk alone in Greenwich. You’re a disgusting & vile human being. She’s reporting it to the police, and yes we know you prob won’t be caught. She didn’t deserve that. I’m so angry. So so angry.

    Your light shone so brightly that it touched so many of us, impacted the lives of many more, and changed the game forever. And, you are my Brenda’s son. There are no words to describe her heartbreak, our heartbreak, now that your light has gone. Sometimes life is terribly unfair.

    For those throwing the phrase, "playing the race card" at me today re @loosewomen... let me be VERY clear. You feeling uncomfortable hearing someone talking about race is not my concern, when the concern ought to be directed towards the victims who are subjected to it.

    A second woman has died following the crush at the @asakemusik gig at Brixton Academy on Friday evening. 23 year old Gabrielle Hutchinson was on the security team for the event, as a contractor. She passed away in the early hours of this morning.

    As you watch the fires being fought across the UK, remember that *qualified* meteorologists have been warning for 2wks that this could happen - and giving advice. Yet we’ve had a bunch of unqualified ppl with zero knowledge of weather patterns telling ppl to carry on as normal

    In light of the Christmas rule change. Many of you will now have loads of perishable food you just won’t be able to finish. And some ppl now won’t have enough (cos you were seeing family). I recommend food sharing app @Olio_ex. It’s free. And right now, timely and useful.

    Is it just me, or do some journos seem almost gleeful LITERALLY chasing people in boats making the *very* dangerous across the Channel. Like it's sport or something. Thus dehumanising them in every way possible. How have we reached a point where stuff like this is seen as okay?

    I am a signatory on this open letter released today re: the BBC’s Naga Munchetty decision. And I respectfully and openly disagree with TV folk who see calling out racism and racist language as “opinion”. Take a walk in my shoes etc. etc.
