    Important new finding for covid patients - some seem to form late pneumatoceles with pneumo and / or empyema - we have had to operate on 4 - if U do, important to open and drain pneumatocele some r infected - results r too early but it seems to help pts- video shows technique

    On Mother’s Day i think of my wife Lorraine.. Who like so many moms out there dedicated her entire life to her 3 boys .. gave up her career ..to drive her children to multiple activities and to love them unconditionally every day.. Happy Mother’s Day to all the dedicated moms ..

    The greatest honor of my professional career has been serving the staff , doctors and nurses of New York Hospital (NYU) Langone Health this past 5 weeks- amazing story book effort of professionalism humility and outstanding care of thousand of Covid 19 patients - I thank them

    Does any Olympic athlete eat half a banana and a cup of coffee prior to performing ... why do surgeons underestimate the importance of their diet, sleep, and nutrition .. can’t super perform without optimizing these arenas
