No, @RepMTG, we are not the Border Patrol, but we do have the data 90% of fentanyl from Mexico was seized at legal entry points or interior checkpoints, not illegal crossing routes ~0.02% of those arrested by Border Patrol possessed any fentanyl at all
Reporter: "Most fentanyl comes across the border from people who are US citizens, not immigrants." MTG: "What's your proof? Because that's not what we've been shown by border patrol." Reporter: "From the CATO Institute" MTG: "We're not taking the CATO Institute seriously."

No matter where it was tried, communism has always resulted in mountains of dead bodies. As for socialist economics, it has always resulted in shortages, inefficiency, poverty, and desperation. j.mp/2EgBSCb

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg wants to make the United States the “global leader” in high‐speed rail. That’s like wanting to be the world leader in electric typewriters, rotary telephones, or steam locomotives. j.mp/3abImEX #CatoTransit

Harriet Tubman fought enormous injustice and promoted human liberty. She exhibited courage in fighting and breaking unjust laws, and took the lead in putting her views into action. She deserves to be on the $20 bill. j.mp/2EpkZau

On this day in history, 170 years ago today, Harriet Tubman escaped slavery. Not content with merely liberating herself, Tubman is reported to have gone back to the Confederacy 19 times, risking capture as she "conducted" some 300 slaves to freedom. j.mp/303a4jA

86.3% of fentanyl trafficking convictions were of U.S. citizens, not illegal immigrants. If it were easier to transport fentanyl by crossing illegally, U.S. citizens wouldn’t be hired for smuggling jobs

This is in keeping with the larger trend: immigrants—regardless of their legal status—are less likely to commit crimes than native‐ born Americans cato.org/blog/new-resea… #CatoImmigration

A U.S. college education costs 297% more now than it did in 1979. Meanwhile, a Happy Meal costs 40% less. The first is subsidized; the second isn't. (source: j.mp/2JB795Z)
