Yesterday my beautiful mum closed her eyes for the last time, my best friend, my confidant, my greatest support.I will miss you every single day. Sleep well 💕

- When you make end of life something not to be frightened of @drkathrynmannix - reading to her grandma, not frightened by the fact she is “sleeping” not disturbed by noisy secretions, just a little girl, her “mannie” and the love and bond between them 💕
- Feel incredibly humbled to be named in the Queens Birthday Honours list tonight being awarded an MBE for services to Nursing alongside so many nurses I admire and look to as my role models, Thankyou to my amazing teams @UHDBTrust
- So this happened today with my wonderful mum, so proud to be a nurse, so proud to be here and slightly starstruck to see Sheila Hancock and Marcus Rashford😍 oh and of course the lovely Prince William

- My beautiful dad closed his eyes for the last time last night, a kiss from his granddaughter and my mum at his side. EOL care got absolutely right. We are devastated mornjng but yesterday was a precious memory for our whole family
- My eldest son posted this today, we all have our own personal battles, we all have our mountains to climb - what I would say to you is keep going, believe in yourself, don’t let others knock you down - this is why I do what I do

- Mixed emotions as I leave the babies for the first time to do a voluntary shift with the bereavement team this morning
- Wow what an amazing and emotional day, first doses of vaccine administered to patients, their response and gratitude has been inspiring. Well done to this amazing team getting this off the ground @UHDBTrust
