Just read a story about a couple with a 5yo girl and the husband demanded a DNA test bc the child looked nothing like him. Turns out she wasn’t his but the wife swore she didn’t cheat, she also took a DNA test and the girl wasn’t hers either?
There’s debate on tiktok rn about who would win in a fight, 100 Americans vs 100 brits and the funniest comment I’ve seen about it is this guy said “don’t forget how when Americans visit Europe to attend the Olympics the local gov has to beg them to stop beating up pickpockets”
Btw the of course kept the child they’d been raising and also ended up adopting their daughter out of the system. But imagine the sheer horror of learning that. Ain’t no way
I wonder what would’ve happened if the daughter wasn’t in foster care but with another family living a regular life. Would they switch back?? Or just like accept the mistake and keep in touch and have the kids be like cousins or something
When I was in little I got mad at my stepdad over something stupid and said I was going to run away and ran out of the house. Poor man got so stressed chasing me around our yard he went to the hospital with chest pains. They discovered he had colon cancer.
It was early enough that it was easy to treat (as easy as cancer gets) and he was in remission within a year. We always joked that I saved his life by being a brat
