    I cited a paper in my book. The author emailed demanding I was legally obligated to share with them the text. I sent a screenshot of the one place they were cited. They wanted more context. If you're so curious, BUY THE BOOK stop wasting my time.

    In a meeting. Here, parental leave is only full pay if you continue service obligations. So a colleague is zooming in from the NICU. This is unreasonable.

    We are all doing the same job. We teach the same number of classes. I don't think my labor is worth $20,000 LESS than that of my econ colleagues. More money please.

    It really pisses me off when grad programs & fellowships want diversity statements from my students, asking how their minoritized status will “contribute” to the program. UH, better question, what are you going to do for my students?
