Here are the facts.
It’s not enough for Australia’s airlines to just fly in and out of regional communities, they should be a strong community partner and a reliable employer as well.
The Government will continue to stand up for those living and working in the regions.
I urge Qantas to reconsider this move and engage with those affected.
The Government re-iterates its call for appropriate consultation, no job losses and no reduction in services.
