I find it odd and out of place for mic to be narrating this part..especially since it’s romance? And it’s not even close to the same lines to give us an idea of a future lover (aka katsuki) speaking about a past clueless Izuku, bones come on 💀
Let’s go over the facts here:
1. Horikoshi is an artist, every choice he makes is deliberate
2. Horikoshi made Mirko and has drawn her consistently dark skinned every other time he’s drawn her
3. He’s just experimenting with his art style and this is a very stylized piece
If you don’t like this arc I’m convinced you just weren’t paying attention, because this is arguably one of the most important arcs for the characterization of Deku.
