I've been on this website for more than 12 years and posted damn near 30K items. At least for now, I'm leaving. Here's my envoi; hope to see at least some of you elsewhere.
ICYMI: Tuesday, @RepStefanik filed a proxy letter granting @RepMeuser the authority to vote on her behalf. She cited “the ongoing public health emergency” as the reason for her absence from DC. A few hours later, she attended a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago.
The congresswoman endorsed Carl Paladino, who called Hitler “the kind of leader we need today. We need somebody inspirational. We need somebody that is a doer.”
.@timesunion editorial board to @RepStefanik: “Either you stand for the rule of law and accept the results ... or you follow a deluded or corrupt president and the mob he and his surrogates and radical right-wing propagandists have whipped into a frenzy.”
.@jaketapper notes that @NYGovCuomo has refused repeated requests to come on the show. (The gov has, of course, rarely missed a chance to go on his brother’s show on the same network.)
Do you people have any idea how many stories about @NYGovCuomo are going to come out once he loses the vast retaliatory powers of the Executive Chamber?
.@NYGovCuomo is acting as if DOJ and the Legislature were the only two entities seeking data regarding the deaths of nursing home residents. That's completely false, and ignores the scores of journalists and other groups that were stonewalled since July.
The @timesunion's editorial board has endorsed @CastelliMatt in the 21st CD: "Incumbent @EliseStefanik has become a toxic influence on Congress and American politics. Her opponent is someone who could make the North Country proud to be represented again."
MBS has told people close to him that the murder of Khashoggi was the "worst thing ever to happen to me."
He told @gcaw and me that the murder "hurt me a lot. It hurt me and it hurt Saudi Arabia, from a feelings perspective."

.@timesunion editorial board: “Now is the time for Ms. Stefanik — a frequent social-media scourge of any politician accused of wrongdoing who is not a member of her party — to show some of the integrity displayed by her state GOP colleagues.”
BREAKING: @NYGovCuomo faces a new allegation from a sixth woman, this time involving inappropriate touching after she was summoned to the Executive Mansion late last year. @Brendan_LyonsTU reports: bit.ly/3bx3EgR
