    Watching Bush funeral thinking of @RealCJ10’s story of an exchange with Bush on deck in playoffs in Houston before CJ hit a game-winning HR. Bush’s comment “don’t you do it.” CJ gave him a good-natured grin after crossing home plate. Class man. Great man.

    This happened to Chipper Jones when he signed his $90 million deal w/Braves in 2000. Steve Hammond didn’t bring him an offer. Chipper found out in a convo w/Schuerholz & fired his agent. Hired his best friend BB Abbott to finalize details & take deal. To find out after fact? Ouch

    The Braves used to have their hearts broken by teams like this. Now they are the ones riding the wave. They had that something special you can’t explain. They clicked. And it’s been a beautiful thing to watch. Congratulations Braves. World Series champs again.
