    OMG she’s only gone & done it 😱 @trussliz has put fossil fuel loving, deregulation-obsessed Jacob Rees Mogg in charge of both energy & climate crises -he is not a serious person & this is not a serious Government. Can only hope he wakes up in time to recognise scale of emergency

    Whatever your views on monarchy, arrest of anti-royalist campaigners for exercising right to peaceful protest is chilling. Many of us warned about exactly this when govt rushed thro the illiberal public order bill. This is not what democracy looks like

    Body language speaks volumes I’d spent nearly 3 hours watching him in a prone position & it got too much! Plus - how dare he label those of us trying to stop No Deal “undemocratic” His Government has no mandate for this vicious Brexit - and is trying to bypass parliament

    I’ve written to the Speaker to ask that he facilitate a process whereby MPs can hold PM & Chancellor to account for misleading parliament over #partygate. Knowingly to lie to parliament & public & to do so with impunity undermines our democracy - there must be consequences
