It’s insane, we do everything else online. I’ll keep filing the bill to allow online voter registration. It seems to work in 43 states! Why not Texas? Oh y’all know why…

CenterPoint intends to increase their rates to recoup the cost of recovering from Hurricane Beryl, passing the cost on to the customer. That dog won’t hunt.

Making Texans fill out a paper form & mail it is like sending mail by pony express. 42 states have online voter registration. There’s no doubt OVR is safer & cheaper. It’s past time for TX to join the 21st century. Check out my op-ed in @HoustonChron:

1 yr ago, I stood for democracy. Literally. SB1 makes it harder to vote by adding barriers & easier to intimidate voters. It's not designed to protect your right to vote esp. if you're a senior, a minority or have disabilities. I had to stand up for TX & I did it for 15 hrs.
