- When I fell upon this “under the heel” trick to keep strappy sandals up I was actually pissed off. Prior to learning the trick, I literally cut all my straps short on my lace-up sandals because I didn't have the patience to fuss with them all night. You live and you learn right?!

00:00 - We dropped Ivy off at her college dorm today. I am officially an empty nester & she is officially on her journey into adulthood. I'm filled with panic but I'm also filled with pride. Ivy is the bravest person I know. She knows who she is & will fight to sit well in her skin.
- 17 years ago I had a son who grew up to be a brilliant, kind, and creative person. My son now feels more comfortable in her skin as Ivy. The essence of who she is and who we are have not changed. I now celebrate the exact same phenomenal traits in my daughter. I am a proud Mom.
