    • Transgender is not a sexuality • Trans is not a “type of gay” • No child is born in the wrong body • Sex is observed, not assigned • You cannot change your sex • Lesbians do not have penises • Gay men do not have vaginas • Women don’t have to justify single sex spaces

    I am so sorry to read this. Nothing makes me angrier than this vile behaviour towards girls. My daughter had three incidents of being followed, harassed and threatened in broad daylight. She became a black belt in Karate. Now she walks, all 5ft of her, like she owns the streets.

    Fifteen hundred of us women spent an hour in the company of this woman this morning. Two take aways were - “I want nothing but the best for trans women. They deserve every human right. I want trans women to be safe.” “Our fight is not about trans issues. It’s about feminism.

    Thank you. My first time is not dissimilar to yours. For decades I kept it to myself and blamed myself for having too much to drink. I was 16. I shared it for the first time with my therapist last year. I’m now 65.

    I never heard of David Amess until today. That’s because he was clearly an MP for his constituents and not for the power and the glory that many MPs chase. I wish to God I’d never heard his name. RIP a good man.

    No Alex we don’t agree on this. And we used to on many things. It’s a ridiculous ruling and I do not care if I’m disrespecting NZ law. My god it’s disrespecting the poor woman who was assaulted. No. There comes a point where enough is enough.

    Did you know that Simon Fanshawe of Stonewall fame said this morning to Nick Ferrari on LBC - I’m with JKR on this - dress however you like etc. He went on to criticise men, Izzard specifically, who think they can be women just by saying they are. Very refreshing to hear.
