- Conservatives amazingly voting against a national school food program. Bill C-322. All other parties in favour.
- Yet another NDP idea taken up by the government--this will actually help businesses keep employees working, while the 10% subsidy would have done little or nothing to help save jobs.
- NDP stands alone in voting in favour of a federal dental care plan that would cover lower income families who do not have dental coverage. Liberals, Conservatives, Bloc all want less fortunate Canadians to stay out of dentist offices.
