Made finals of RC DC and queued for the pro tour and worlds! Honestly a good lesson for myself about taking single events less seriously in prep and embracing the variance. Deck was fine. I'm very happy with my play the whole weekend. Very excited to get to play more big events.

Wizards of the coast making a tournament series where 1st place gets $50,000+ and 2nd place gets nothing, and then cracking down hard on people doing splits is so fucked. This is life changing money. Expecting people to do nothing and put it all on one match is insane.

It is so frustrating that there are no real consequences to cheating in Magic right now. WOTC has completely abandoned tournament integrity so we're left with this. If ostracisation is all we have i'll take it...but these people are still playing every tournament...

Oh wow this situation was far worse than I imagined. I assumed there was some benefit towards looking at the top card, like turns, but this is just ridiculous. Rules always need some discretion and good judges use it. That ruling is disheartening and then the rest is disturbing.

Won my first rcq yesterday with UB. Good build, similar to my chally top 8 earlier. Going for my 2nd invite today, different deck tho. 2-0 leyline red 1-1-1 UB mirror :/ 2-1 boros aggro 2-1 golgari midrange Id Top 8 (2 teamkills) 2-1 domain zur (gf...gotta be ruthless) 2-1 crabs
