- 5yrs ago I cold messaged the 1st person @CaVelasquezMD from med school who had matched GS as IMG. I said that I wanted to be like him when I grew up. He became a valuable guide/friend. Today, I finished 10m as an intern w/him as my chief. This is the power of example & mentoring
