- Hamilton’s Police Board has filed a complaint against me with the Ontario Civilian Police Commission and an investigation has begun. The Board says I violated the Code of Conduct by bringing motions about the budget to Council and speaking out about the budget process. #HamOnt
- The @OntarioNDP and @MaritStiles have lost the plot. I’ll be supporting Sarah in the upcoming election. If the Ontario NDP has an ounce of integrity left, they’ll walk away from this fight and make the smart choice not to run a candidate in Hamilton Centre against Sarah. #HamOntI will be running for re-election in Hamilton Centre as an Independent. - The results of the complaint I filed with the @cityofhamilton's Integrity Commissioners are in - police board members cannot, in fact, vote on the police budget if they have immediate family on the force. I've been saying it for years. Glad to have it in black and white. #HamOnt
- Well, #HamOnt, it's still sinking in, but we really did do it. I'm Councillor-Elect for Ward 2, and I'm really excited about it! I have a lot to share, but I wanted to start from a place of gratitude, and a bit of honesty, about what this result does and doesn't mean.
- If the @cityofhamilton can turn on these water features in time for warmer weather, it can turn on drinking fountains in all of Hamilton’s parks. This is especially important for our city’s houseless residents. Water is a human right. #HamOnt
