    THE FINISH LINE!! Today, after a decade, I was discharged from the Alberta Cancer Care system. With #prostatecancer, the journey from diagnosis to discharge is long. We are lucky to have world class treatment in #Calgary. Early detection saves lives. It saved mine. Get tested.

    As I VERY quietly (shhhh) mark my 40th anniversary in broadcasting today, I thank my first #mentor, @QMuzikDirektor, for the help and guidance during the early years from CFWB to CHNL. He taught me the business, and led me to the path forward. And the laughs! Very grateful.

    When I retired, I retired. 100%. Today, I made an exception as I had the opportunity to speak to a Grade 5 class on weather. The kids were great. We all had fun. Extra special for me, though, to be there with the young student teacher on the left. My daughter. #prouddad
