Colorado State Patrol Troop 2B/E covers El Paso and Teller Counties.
- This is why EB I70 is closed. DO NOT ATTEMPT IT. Crews are working to clear all obstructions but it will be extended. Check COTrip.org for all updates and before heading anywhere. (Video available for media use, taken WB 70 from tunnel)
00:00 - We were all honored by a community who showed they cared so much yesterday by lining the procession route in a snow storm. A very tough day was made a bit easier because of your display of care, and we noticed. Thank you from all of us. #MicahFlick
- When you see the “Fines Doubled” in a construction zone we mean it. 103 mph in a 65 mph zone is a free coupon to come see a judge. Please slow down. The men and women working those zones have families at home counting on them.
- One of our troopers returned today from a 9 month tour overseas for our country’s military. Some of our finest wear a couple of uniforms in protection of us all. #WelcomeHome #CSPOFPY
- #NewBannerPic Everyone you see working on the side of a road is a human that wants to go home at the end of their shift. When you see the lights: slow down, move over, pay attention!
- To the fine motoring public, if you are driving in foggy conditions like this, please turn your lights on. The law requires it and we greatly appreciate it.
- Just had citizens call in to help us locate and arrest a drunk driver. We rely on you to make our state safer. Thank you! Remember see a suspected DUI? Dial *CSP
- A legend in the CSP finishes his last day on the road before a well deserved retirement. Thanks Master Trooper Kramer for the service to CO!
- Your Colorado State Troopers, in concert with Colorado Springs Police Department and El Paso County Sheriff’s Office are working a large team operation on the I 25 Corridor today to address dangerous driving behaviors that cause crashes. Be aware and drive with care.
- Do you like the look of our new patrol cars? (We may have an issue with missing tires) #NationalDonutDay
- 107 MPH in a 65 MPH construction zone. What is so important that you are willing to risk your life or the life of someone else? Remember driving is a privilege not a right, with that privilege comes A LOT of responsibility. Choose wisely.
- I-25 remains closed in both directions north of Pueblo. There are approximately 6-7 train cars, and the coal they were carrying is scattered across both lanes of I-25. There is significant damage to the railroad bridge crossing I-25.
