- St. Patrick High School students were gracious enough to stop by and take pictures, hand out shirts and brought cookies for our fellow officers as a thank you on the anniversary of 9/11.
- Friendly Reminder to all Pet Owners. Now that the weather is becoming more pleasant, please remember to keep all animals on leashes and take a little bit of extra time to ensure your backyard gates are secured.
- On 28 May, Tac Officers observed Chrysler with tinted windshield and initiated a stop on the 5500 block of W. Diversey. Investigation revealed driver to have a revoked license. A search of the vehicle revealed a loaded GLOCK-29 handgun, 94 grams of Heroin and over $18,000.
- This young man walked into the 25th District wanting to talk to a Police Officer today. So we brought him into our office and spent some time with him. We are never too busy for our youth.
- Congrats to 25th District's own Officer Mike Miedona who completed today's Chicago Marathon!
- 025th District Tact. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Cicero and Pulaski that lead to the arrest of a subject with felony charges approved. Great Job 025th District!!!!!
- See and be seen! Illinois law requires that you clear all of the snow off of your windows, mirrors and lights before you can drive on our roadways. Roads are slick and icy so give yourself extra time and drive to arrive.
- 31st ward provided lunch for all 3 watches today. Thank you Alderman Cardona and the 31st Ward for your ongoing show of support for our Department.
- 24Jul2021, 025th Tact Officers received information of a subject who was in possession of multiple firearms. During the course of the field investigation recovered two 9MM handguns and a .22 caliber rifle. Weapons were secured and subject was placed into custody and charged.
- Great job to the 2562 Tact Team for placing a robbery offender into custody last night. Due to their quick response, dedication, and thorough investigation, the 2562 Tactical Team arrested a subject involved in two separate robbery incidents Excellent Job 025th District!!!!
- District Coordination Officers network and build relationships. Officers Dan and Andy helped make a connection between Grace & Peace Church and the New Moms Center located at 5317 W. Chicago Ave. A trunk full of diapers was just the start of many good things to come!
