- Railway Electrification work of katni -satna 95 RKM in the territory of WCR completed on 29.06.2020. Total electrification completed by CORE in 2020-21 stands 181 RKM. Journey from Mumbai to Howrah/Patna will now be without traction change in between.
- First Electric Double stack containerTrain ran successfully fromPalanpur toBotad via MSH(Gr187) VG (Gr213)SUNR (Gr212)and reachedBotad today at around11.45Hrs after covering270RKM.This is the first loaded double stack container train onElectricTraction with High Rise pantographs.

- CRS inspection of Gadwal-Raichur section (57.7 RKM) of Hyderabd Decan Nampally & Guntakal Division in South Cetral Railway completed successfully on 21.12.2021. With this total 1032.81 RKM route have been electrified by CORE in the current FY.
- CRS inspection of New Jalpaiguri- Raninagar Jalpaiguri section (28 rkm/ 66 tkm) of Katihar division including speed trial completed successfully today.
- CRS inspection of Dhalgaon - Kurduwadi section (125 RKM) of Solapur Division in Central Railway completed successfully on 04.03.2021. With this total 1337 RKM route have been electrified by CORE in the current FY.
- CORE is striving hard to electrify existing railway lines.Light Engine trial of Madalgarh -Jalandhari section completed on 19.12.20.
