A combined group of personnel from Public Works, the Pearland Police Department, and the Pearland Fire Department is being deployed to Jefferson County to assist with water rescues and evacuations. Wish them a safe trip there and back.

- At 2:30 this morning, Water Production division of Public Works and the Pearland Fire Department filled tankers with thousands of gallons of clean drinking water to send to aid Houston hospitals. Thank you for working late and braving the cold so that we can be good neighbors.

The investment you make in Pearland water by paying your monthly bill allows us to have a system that is independent and protected from outside sources.CORRECTION: At 10 PM Friday the Brazosport Water Authority was informed of potential Naegleria Fowleri in the water supply. - 2/20/21 EVENING WATER UPDATE: Lines have been flushed, and samples have been collected and are on their way to the lab. As soon as test results are available, we will share that information.
- 2/20/21 MORNING WATER UPDATE: Flushing the City of Pearland water system started today (8 a.m.-6 p.m.) as a step towards lifting the Boil Water Notice. Samples will be collected at 1 p.m., sent to the state for testing, and expect to hear back no later than Monday 2/22.
