- Schemes DO NOT win football games... Intentional organization, Attention to details, Maximizing stregnth & conditioning, Simplifying efficiency , and Putting others BEFORE YOURSELF win football games. #rant
- A solid Stregnth and Conditioning Program makes a great football team. I can teach you all the scheme in the world and its worthless if you don't prepare in the off season.

- One day in practice I overheard our OL coach say "My only job when it comes to Football is to teach you and the guy beside you, to effectively move people away from the football." I became a better coach for hearing it. It applies to all positions and all schemes for OCs.
- I don't know if I'll ever be able to be an Offensive Coordinator in football again. What I do know is I can help kids, change family trees, & try to make this world a better place. I am perfectly fine with that. Serving others should always come before our own selfish desires.
- I get asked all the time what I think the most important Air Raid Drills are. IMO it is: 1. Blitz Pickup 2. Pat N Go 3. Team Screens 4. ROA/ Scramble Drill 5. Releases/ 1 on1s 6. Team Script. There are other great Drills, but these have to be non negotiable. #AirRaid
