- Really didn’t think we had to say this, but here we go: PLEASE DO NOT go hiking in the area of the #PalisadesFire. This is an active firefight & conditions can change quickly. We’re all a bit busy right now with the 🔥 & don’t have resources to keep telling hikers to stay away.
- Driver on 101 Fwy decided he didn’t want to wait in traffic anymore so he flipped a U & drove wrong way down on-ramp against oncoming traffic. CHP Sergeant saw it happening & crossed over shoulder & gore point before ramming vehicle to a stop. Driver arrested for DUI.
- CHP West Valley officers recently responded to call of a baby choking in a car along the 101 Fwy. Officer Ramstead (licensed paramedic) evaluated the infant & utilized back slaps to help the infant clear his airway and begin breathing normally. 6 month old was choking on a cherry

They say the best views come after the hardest climbs. True… but just don’t get stuck at the top.
- Umm, yeah... Malibu Canyon Road is closed from Piuma Rd to Francisco Ranch Rd due to this little problem. So if you could find an alternate route, that’d be great...🤘
