    This was the scene in the lobby of the Charleston Civic Center after a boys state playoff game. People gathered to watch WVU/ Texas Tech. It is hard to find an entire state that embraces one University like the people of West Virginia gravitate toward WVU. #CountryRoads

    James Franklin's first press conference at Penn State to his last. From high energy and excitement...to being completely broken. College football is a nasty beast, man. Gutted a tenure that started with so much promise ended this way.

    State College has a population of 40,000. The majority of season ticket holders travel hours to games. It’s the weekend before Christmas, and hotels are 1,500 a night. No disrespect to SMU but they aren’t a big brand that gets a regular fan motivated to change their holiday plans

    James Franklin got PSU out of some very difficult times, and enhanced the program to a consistent top 10 team, while evolving it behind the scenes. He should be appreciated. It’s time for James Franklin and Penn State to part ways. Both are true.

    Fan speculation that Allar would reverse his decision to return if Penn State makes/wins national title game. Two games left to go, but for my money Allar’s regular season film is better than his postseason film so far. So if return is based on feedback, that might not change.
