- Patrol officers arrested 4 juveniles and 2 adults who were traveling together in 2 stolen Hyundai cars. Guardian of two of the juveniles arrives at police station in another stolen Hyundai to take custody of teens. Vehicle recovered and more arrests made:

00:00 - In light of the tragic school shooting in Florida, our Traffic Ops Unit wanted to do something personal to let out students know they care about them. So this morning they are stopping by Westlake HS to greet students as they arrive to class. More visits to other schools soon!
- Our Traffic Ops officers wrapped up their surprise visit with students at Westlake HS this morning with a lot of high fives, handshakes and a few hugs. All to show their support to students and let them know we care, especially after the tragic Florida shooting.

- Officers from the CCSO salute fallen Officer PFC Jacob Hancher of the Myrtle Beach Police Department. This procession was to take him to the Waldorf Volunteer FD Station 3 for a public viewing tonight.

- UPDATE: The scene is secure and officers have one suspect in custody. There have been no reported victims of gunshot wounds. The mall will remain closed today as the investigation continues. Further updates to come when available.
