    Along with HSI & our federal, state & local law enforcement partners, @CBP at the Port of NY/NWK arrested 3 criminals & took dangerous drugs & their proceeds off of our streets this past week. We strive to enforce our nation’s laws protecting the U.S. at & beyond our borders.

    Today, SCBPO Jacqueline “Jackie”Montanaro and her daughter Madelyn will be laid to rest. Jackie lost her life on 01/14, while heroically attempting to rescue Madelyn from a fire at their home. Jackie, you were a phenomenal officer, and thank you for your service. Honor to the End

    Earlier this month, @CBP Officers assigned to the Cargo Exams Unit at the Port of NY/Newark seized over 37,000 counterfeit chargers & UL adapters worth over $336,000. These counterfeit devices pose a risk of electrical shock & fire putting our homes & families at risk. #CBPNYNWK

    The Port of NY/Newark reminds you to always declare merchandise when entering the U.S.  Last week @CBP Officers intercepted a passenger who failed to declare more than $55,000 in goods, resulting in a seizure penalty & revocation of Trusted Traveler status. #CBPNYNWK
