The military did not enter California. The federal government restarted federal water pumps after they were offline for maintenance for three days. State water supplies in Southern California remain plentiful.

Our main reservoirs connected to the Sacramento River; Shasta and Oroville, have a large amount of storage and are expected to have enough capacity within the system to absorb the precipitation from these incoming #storms.

DWR is maintaining releases from #LakeOroville to the Feather River at 35,000 cfs. These releases are being made in coordination with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers & downstream water operators for #flood control protection. DWR continues to closely monitor lake inflow levels

Fremont Weir is flowing and forecasted to flow for the next five days, as it is designed to do. Weirs are designed to help manage #flood. These weirs are passive systems & move water when it reaches a specific height into flood bypass to relieve pressure on mainstem levees.
