- We urge any province (e.g. Ontario) using a 5 day or a shortened isolation period to mandate negative test results at the end of isolation to truly curb the transmission of COVID-19 Using an arbitrary number of days without supporting results will only prolong this pandemicShould @CDCgov reconsider guidance on isolation & add a Neg test? Yes! Why? Bc relationship between symptom start & peak virus load has changed! Guidance must keep up accordingly.
