- Tough loss tonight to a quality Stewartville team 70-45. Bears started the night with a donation to the Connelly family. Lessons of “giving” last a lifetime. Back at it tomorrow! How you respond to adversity is a true sign of character. Terrie Connelly is a great example.
- Couldn’t be more proud of our efforts tonight. Byron has a lot to be proud of. The kids left everything on the court and walked out with their heads held high. Byron left their mark on this tournament! Never quit, never stopped believing.

- “Fight For Mike Night.” Byron Boys Basketball will be hosting a fundraising scrimmage against Kasson-Mantorville on Monday Night July 23rd @7:30 at Byron High School. All donations will go towards Mike’s recovery. Come support the Coble family at this great event.
- Watching basketball as a wrestling coach is exhausting. Nobody even think of taking my purse either!
- Congratulations Bears on winning the consolation at the State Tournament. Bears finish 28-4. Lots to be proud of!
