- In a rebuilding year with 7 newcomers and 3 freshmen starters, the Huskers have reached the final four. A credit to this program's upperclassmen and its coaching staff. I wouldn't have believed it.
- Ive been thinking of this since we got word of Cook’s retirement. Without hyperbole, this is the biggest Husker athletics story since Tom Osborne retired as football coach.
- Ohio St beating USC so bad that Kirk Ferentz is gonna get a $200,000 bonus.
- ESPN: "Jazz Sweet moved to the right side this season." Jazz Sweet has played RS for 4 years.
- Some personal news: Though he surprised us by coming about 10 days early, my wife and I welcomed our son Bennett David Sheldon this morning. All are healthy, and I am blessed beyond measure.
- BREAKING: Nebraska volleyball lands a huge transfer. 2017 No. 1 recruit OH Lexi Sun is heading to Lincoln after spending freshman year at Texas. #HuskerVBall
- FINAL: The unreal season continues after Nebraska rallies from 2 sets down for a 5-set win over Illinois. Foecke and Sun each with 19 kills and NU will play for its 3rd title in 4 years against Stanford on Sunday.
- Nebraska volleyball assistant Tyler Hildebrand says despite some chatter in the Volleysphere, he is not a candidate for the newly opened USC head coaching job and will be at NU next season. #HuskerVBall
- Some personal news: I've just turned in what I expect to be my final Husker volleyball story. I'm excited for a new challenge with the University of Nebraska, but wanted to say a few words of thanks to all who've made this so enjoyable the last 8 years. byjeffsheldon.com/clips/2019/2/2…
- It's not ideal, for sure, but Nebraska has managed to beat 3 top-10 teams despite passing SIGNIFICANTLY worse than last year. If Nebraska can iron out passing (and, truthfully, setting), the ceiling is so high. But the first two contacts need work.
