- I mean there are tons of these examples. That’s sort of the point. He had countless chances to get over the hump and failed at every potential turn.Last Nov, Penn State led 10-0, and had 1st & goal from the 3 to tie late in 4Q. If they win: • OSU is 9-3 after Michigan, and probably misses the CFP. Day is likely fired. • PSU is #2 overall and better positioned in the bracket. Over $100M rested on 3 yards.
