The SEC being absolutely obliterated by mid-majors across the first round a day after Sankey declared those leagues shouldn’t be allowed in to make room for more “competitive” teams is the greatest evidence for karma I have ever seen

Can someone more familiar with west coast CFB explain to me how Utah went from a Mountain West team to a fanbase that inexplicably thinks they are too good for the Big 12 in a decade? Without ever making the CFP or even winning a major bowl in that time? I’m genuinely asking

Baylor BYU Cincinnati Houston Iowa State Kansas Kansas State Oklahoma State TCU Texas Tech UCF West Virginia That is a heck of a conference. Beyond just football too.

To be clear: a super Big Ten and a super SEC almost exclusively playing themselves and then matching up their top teams to play for a national title is not college football It’s a sad NFL ripoff And national media seemingly excited by the idea of that never loved this sport

Super Conferences are stupid as hell and shouldn’t be happening but the Big 12 potentially having some real rivalries here like BYU/Utah, Arizona/ASU and four Texas teams in the same league could make for some real old school fun college football

When the Big 12 officially expands on Friday, UCF will become the youngest Power Five team in College Football The Knights’ first season was in 1979. The next-youngest P5 team, Florida State, began its modern program more than 30 years before UCF
