🚫 Never take a bumblebee indoors. 💀 Indoor heat can disrupt natural bumblebee body rhythms. 🥵 A warm bumblebee burns more energy. ⚰️ Don’t keep bumblebees in boxes. 🧥 Bumblebees have thick hair to protect them against the cold. 🧵2/5

🕷️ Visible mites are usually harmless – let them catch a ride. 💤 A resting bumblebee isn’t a stranded bumblebee. ⏱️ Bumblebees can rest for up to 45 minutes. Give her time. 🥾 Move a bumblebee if she is in danger of being stepped on. 🧵3/5

If you find me looking tired & stranded, the best thing to do is pop me onto a flower. If there aren’t any flowers around, a few drops of sugar water (made from equal parts water & white sugar) can really help. Remember to leave me outside, so I can 'bee' on my way asap! #bee
