Hypothetical:
I’m selling a $500,000 house.
Why should I pay a Realtor $30,000?
What could they possibly do to provide $30k in value to the transaction?

- Did you know that if you sell a $500,000 house You have to pay $30,000 in Realtor commissions?? Insanity for what they do. We have to change this.
- The problem with Realtors: They do not have a unique skill set or any kind of value proposition. There are hundreds of them in your town and that makes them very dispensable. Why are we still agreeing to pay these people 6%? It’s nonsense.
- Replying to @BuilderMonkMLS exposure is the number one reason but there could easily be a system made where you uploaded your own property to the almighty MLS without a Realtor. After this industry changing lawsuit I hope to see commissions come down and homeowners to keep what is their money.
- All crawl spaces should be encapsulated and air conditioned. It is an absolute insane practice to leave the bottom of your house open to the elements and wildlife.
- If you sell a $500,000 house with a Realtor You have to pay out $30,000 for ~12 hours of work. If selling agent keeps $15,000 that’s $1,250 an hour. We have to change this!
- My Dad paid for my college. My Dad gave me a bonus to go 20% down on my first house. My Dad even gives me a company vehicle that’s really nice. I plan to do the same for my child. This is the way.
- Replying to @MakerThriveThey provide value but there’s no way it’s $30k worth
- Replying to @TheRickCarlsonI’ve never seen an agent fight for anyone’s interest but their own 🤷♂️

- America is figuring out that they don’t need real estate agents. A lot are overpriced and lazy. Change is coming.
- Listing with a realtor is 99% about getting on the MLS. Change my mind
- Just poured a new driveway for this house and the buyers are loving it! By putting the driveway on the side I was able to save $262.70. Think smarter not harder.
