CEO of @Oneleet | Pentester | YC alum | Hates charlatans and security theater | On a quest to kill security snake oil and to help companies get security right
Today, we're announcing our $33M Series A led by Dawn Capital.
Oneleet is ending compliance theater by making companies genuinely secure. Compliance follows automatically.
Here's our story. 🧵
Oneleet just hit a massive milestone this month, adding $520k in revenue in a single month, getting our ARR to $6M+ in just 19 months.
We did this with just $2M in funding, that we basically never touched.
Here are a few random lessons we learned along the way:
We just added $150k ARR in less than 24h.
Anyone asking us why we're doing so ridiculously well in a saturated market that we're late to..
It isn't outbound. We suck at it. We don't know how to fake interest in people we don't know over cold emails. We're terrified of
We have received a ridiculous amount of investor interest over the past two weeks. It has gotten to the point where I am literally unable to respond to them all, especially now that I am heads down selling and building at our quarterly offsite. My apologies, I'll reply ASAP.
The reason things have been quiet on my end is because I'm in SF for our series A. I'm currently putting together our data room and finishing my memo, so super focussed.
Update on the revenue side:
With $880k in revenue added in May, we just hit a $10.5m run-rate.
Quick update: So far we've done $650k in newly added revenue this month.
March has been one of the wildest months in Oneleet's journey so far...
- My wife and I recently welcomed our second daughter into the world. (sorry.. I'm SUPER behind on emails, I'm doing my absolute best
Guess I was wrong when I said this month wasn't going to be as good as August. For the second time this year we added more than half a million in revenue in a single month. We're doing this profitably.
Not bad for a seed stage startup.
Just realized I didn't provide an update on our growth for September yet. We ended up doing $397k in new revenue last month.
For the month of October we are probably going to go past that, though it won't be as good of a month as August (when we did $570k).
We're off to a really good start in 2025.
- On average we add about $600k in revenue per month now.
Our goal is to get to $833k in added ARR per month ASAP (that's $10m ARR added per year).
Then our goal, which will probably happen after a series A (but maybe not and we skip
Watch us struggle this month.
After last month’s viral post about our added revenue, I feel it would be dishonest to then not post about how much we’re struggling this month. So far we have only been able to add $210k in revenue this month, which puts us way off from reaching
1. Strive to be 100x better than any competitor out there, get to 10x ASAP.
Don't aim to match the competition. Work on surpassing them from day 1.
Hack your way to that goal with way fewer resources (money, headcount, time).
