> Overwatch preaches about inclusivity and diversity
> Has 3 characters from the same country
> All 3 lame from he same part of their large country
> All 3 know each other
> All 3 are the same stereotype (ninja/mad max boss)
What did Blizzard mean by this?
You're not the first person to say this. But ultimately it wasn't what the story is about. "Not all men are created equal." wouldn't make sense if Deku was able to overcome that and become powerful anyway.
A huge point of MHA is that now more than ever cooperation is important--
Mexico apparently loves him from what I hear. He's a purely heroic character that cannot be beaten, which is pretty damn good representation for it's time and I still think he should be brought back.
-- and the entire point of Deku receiving his quirk from All Might is because the system and world is against him, so he needs help to get where he wants to go. This continues throughout the entire series, with him helping others and them helping him back.
