Following recent developments, I feel the need to make it clear if required I am willing to defend the truth as a witness in any potential civil cases brought about by Mr Lehrmann.

I’m a living breathing human being who had to fight tooth and nail to make it through the past 10 months. In the wake of the findings of the Jenkins Review and the innumerable stories of abuse in Parliament House - to call this issue ‘neutralised’ is beyond insulting.
Good to know that in scoring Scott Morrison’s year, the Daily Telegraph reckons he turned alleged rape victim Brittany Higgins into a “net positive.”

The former Prime Minister and his office were dodgy. I’m so shocked.

I took a photo of an old page in my diary on the 7th of July 2021. It is now being referenced in an article in the Australian. This is the third time private images, texts and WhatsApps from my phone have been published by this particular news outlet. (1/3)

As I wasn’t given a right of reply for this particular story I figured I’d clear it up here. I donated all funds from my defamation case against Senator Reynolds to a sexual assault charity the moment they were received by my lawyer in 2021. See the receipt below.

    Replying to @BrittHiggins_
Stop publishing the private contents of my phone. I entrusted police with my private information for the sole purpose that it could aid their investigation into my sexual assault, nothing else. (3/3)

It’s almost been a week since the #March4Justice protests and I wanted to acknowledge all the women and men who took time out from their busy lives to advocate for a safer, more equitable Australia. Truly, from the bottom of my heart thank-you. 📷: @mpbowers & @DomLorrimer

Shout out to the optimistic @LiberalAus volunteer who tried to hand me a ‘how to vote’ flyer at the @MoAD_Canberra pre-poll today. 🙃

Today the Morrison Government voted against 49 of the 55 recommendations made in the landmark Respect@Work report by @Kate_Jenkins_ . These reforms would have had a real long term impact on the lives of all Australian women ensuring safer and more equitable workplaces. (1/2)

Sam Maiden is an exceptional journalist and my personal hero. There is truly no-one in the press gallery more tenacious or passionate about their craft. She speaks truth to power on a daily basis and still manages to maintain a sense of sardonic humour about it all. (1/2)

This is why people don’t come forward. The politicking, the blame shifting - none of which address the fundamental problems evident in the culture at Parliament House. I’m not surprised, just disappointed.

Breathtakingly disrespectful. The Govt have given community organisations and experts just TWO weeks to contribute to the upcoming 10-year Violence Against Women National Plan. Two weeks to map out the next 10 years of the fight against gendered violence in Australia.

Honoured to intern this year at the @UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) 🇺🇳
