- Saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Roger Bannister. Sir Roger was a strong supporter of the BMC and always tried to attend BMC events in Oxford.

- New BMC W3000 record of 8:37.21i by @lauramuiruns in Glasgow today, breaking her own record of 8:51.75i in the same meeting two years ago.
- Alex Bell sets an Olympic qualifying time of 1:59.28 to win the Womens 800m at the BMC Birmingham Grand Prix this afternoon. Second was Khai Mhlanga in 2:02.59, Jenny Selman was third in 2:04.01.
