    We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Dame Clare Marx CBE, DL, MBBS. A former BOA President and leading light in orthopaedic surgery, Dame Clare was a role model and inspiration to so many. She will be deeply missed, and our thoughts are with her friends and family.

    Deeply concerned at 6 million on waiting list. 704k orthopaedic patients. 63k over 52 wks & 30% increase this month in those waiting over 2 yrs. Must prioritise patients living in pain & with loss of function. Elective Recovery Plan vital to get urgently needed hub centres open.
