Maj DP, I am Brig Bajwa, who also fought Kargil War & as a Commander 192 Mtn Bde, had the honour of capturing TIGER HILL. You said everything right.. don’t bother what people say. You excelled on KBC & made your presence felt… Logon ka kaam hai kehna.. Keep it up. Jai Hind👍🇮🇳

In fact all senior officers & General have no ‘ WAR’ experience, since commissioned after 1971 ( Bangla desh war) & very few having participated in Kargil war ( being a limited war), the “ Jee Hazuri” attitude towards the political bosses has set in... very unfortunate indeed.

Pangong Tso Update -Subsequent to successful interception of Chinese intrusion on night 29/30 Aug , Own Troops successfully occupied two Strategically important features in Spanggur gap in wee hours of 30 Aug . Own-one JCO martyred, Enemy - two PLA Soldiers killed & 45 captured.

Decision by the Govt for NOT handing over the dead body of HM Terrorist, Naikoo to his family, is highly appreciated. Having operated in North Kashmir & having survived an RDX attack by the terrorists, they need a strong handling

Today, on 25 July, 1999, my formation, 192 Mountain Brigade (TIGER HILL) fought the last battle of Kargil War. Captured Zulu Spur at 6 AM on 25 July, with 3/3 GR & Two Teams of 9 Para SF, each headed by Maj Dhaliwal & Capt Sudhir Kumar Walia . ( Happy VIJAY DIWAS Day)

Similarly in my case , my Security has been withdrawn despite threats from J& K Terrorist outfits. Terrorists had blown me off with RDX on 14 Aug98 but I survived & with 48 Stitches on my body, I went to fight the Kargil war & got TIGER HILL for the Nation . What more proof ??

Yes , Captain Karnal Sher Khan of 9 NLI ( Pakistan) fought against my unit ( 8 SIKH) at TIGER HILL, but Pakistan refused to take his body , appreciation of his bravery was written by me & paper inserted in his his pocket. Subsequently he was given the highest gallantry award .

China’s misadventure to obtain a foot hold on the Southern bank of Pangong Tso lake opposite Chushul by 400 /500 Chinese troops on the night of 29/30 Aug has been foiled by own troops ,it is understood that 25 /30 PLA Soldiers been taken as PsOW .Salute to our gallant Soldiers.

it’s shame on the part of Punjab Police officials to have withdrawn his Security.. where as Politicians ,even NRIs & persons with right contacts & money , are provided with Security. To have FOUR Shaurya Chakras in ONE family who faced the the Punjab Militants , is not a joke.

Pangong Tso Update- Two strategically important features captured are BLACK TOP & HELMET which provide depth to CHUSHUL Garrison & dominates Chinese defences & Camps. These features are being reinforced. Razang La is next stop.
