Flying back to Indy this morning scouring my phone & found this note I forget I started last year.
Some of the most important or most awesome days & moments of my life that got me here today.
Wonder what this will look like in five years.
Proud to say I’ll be moving to the role of @WorldofOutlaws Sprint Car PR Coordinator in 2021.
I started this journey seven years ago at 15. Now, I’ve got my dream job at 22. Are you kidding me?
I’m more motivated and determined than ever. Excited to get to work! 🙌
Highlight of the night was without a doubt Owen Larson sprinting across the track as fast as a 5-year old can while yelling...
“Dad! Wait for me! Wait for me!” as Kyle did a cage stand. 😂😂
How badass is it that we get to watch the world’s greatest active race car driver run sprint cars and midgets every night right now?!
Larson the 🐐 & you can’t change my mind.
“I wanted to remind them that before this race I was the only five-time National Open champion. And now? I’m the only six-time.”
KOBE ENERGY FROM DONNY. 🐐
Greatest week of my life.
It’s been a half decade long journey of so much hard work & effort to get to this point in my career. To realize that it’s all finally coming to fruition makes me more proud of myself than ever.
The best part? I know this is only the beginning.
The last time that @DonnySchatz finished WORSE than 2nd at the Knoxville Nationals was in 2004.
This year’s Rookie of the Year, @GioScelzi, was 2 years and 8 months old that night.
