Carillion blacklisted trade unionists, ran up £600m pension deficit while protecting execs' bonuses, Tories gave party donor boss billion-pound contracts while firm in meltdown, now demanding a state bailout. Yet welfare claimants demonised as scroungers. What a bizarre country.

Liverpool CEO Peter Moore Oct '19: "We had this historical figure, Bill Shankly, a Scottish socialist. Today when we speak about business questions, we ask ourselves: 'what would Shankly do?' Doubt he'd have said let the taxpayer pay some wages when you've just made £42m profit.

To beat both AC and Inter Milan in the San Siro in the Champions League within a couple months and it feels like no big deal is the greatest testimony to how far Klopp has taken Liverpool

It’s taken 34 years for police to admit that their failings killed 97 people whose average age was 24. Then finally apologise to families, knowing all legal action has ended so none of their own will ever be held accountable. What a shameless country.

Please, if you want Hillsborough families to gain justice don't comment on the outcome of today's Bettison case. I know it's hard but lawyers are watching and will use any comments that could influence a jury as a reason to get future trials shut down. This is really important.

How can the health minister call people heading north for Xmas “totally irresponsible” when he publicly backed Dominic Cummings driving 264 miles to his parents' home in Durham? This insipid turd has less credibility than Prince Andrew
    Replying to @SkyNewsBreak
Health Secretary Matt Hancock has called the behaviour of people leaving London before tier 4 restrictions began at midnight as "totally irresponsible" For more on this and other news visit news.sky.com

Margaret Aspinall sums up the feeling of devastated families: “How can an inquest rule that 96 people were unlawfully killed at Hillsborough yet no-one in authority is accountable for those deaths. If David Duckenfield's not responsible, who killed my son?”

If Nuttall was at Hillsborough he clearly didn't learn its most powerful lesson: Every right-wing gobshite who lies about it gets found out

Yeah, if only I’d made computers that were a byword for tat, become famous through bullying Katie Hopkins clones with my stubby finger and was so insecure I demanded everyone call me 'Lord'... I’d be one of life’s winners
Have you considered you might be one of life's losers, a non achiever other than use your position in a dying newspaper to vent garbage. Look in a mirror, ask yourself what you've done. This jumped up barrow boy has employed 1000's of people and changed so many lives.

James Dyson tried to shut down my honest criticism of him with his billions and a High Court judge told him where to go. A good day for this country. Suck it up, baby.

A judge has stopped the final Hillsborough trial before it goes to a jury meaning although 96 people were ruled to be Unlawfully Killed no-one of any note has been dealt with by the law. There will be no appeal.

My mate planned to throw a street party but the food bank ran dry, he can't dance as his hip op's put off again and the street's got so many potholes the tables would collapse. But he wishes the royal couple the best of luck in their massively state-funded future life together
