I'll keep it short for here. I have pancreatic cancer. It has spread to my liver. I'll have a port put in this coming Thursday, then chemo starts the following Thursday. I'm not sad or angry (I'm sad for my kids). I'm just going to fight like hell. The battle begins.
You want to know what kind of warrior you're backing in this fight against cancer? Here's a look...
I was discharged from the hospital earlier today. This is right now.
I'm very tired, being kept overnight for observation, but we are prepared for battle! The port is in, and if all goes well, I'll be back at Skylands Stadium tomorrow night! #FightLikeHell
Watching so many talented players go at it at the @NJHitmen tryout camp. Tremendous talent trying out for a tremendous organization! Proud to be going into my 3rd year as the Voice of the Hitmen this fall! #212
Update: The Sunday and Monday after my chemo disconnect are the roughest on me. So I just did some light work for the @NJHitmen Classic each day. Cancer might slow me occasionally, but it will not stop me.
All love to my #212 family for their support!

How do I get so lucky calling great moments for the Sussex County Miners?
