    For basketball coaches determining rotations: It's impossible to play 11 people. 10 is hard. 9 is better. 8 is ideal. 7 if you're playing for a championship. ⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️

    The longer I coach, the simpler my practice plans become: • Positional system-specific skill work • O-D-O • Scrimmage Organize possessions to emphasize what you want to work on. Let them play. Don’t need much else.

    1. Describe what it's like to be a player in our program. (If they don't understand the question, lead them to "feeling" answers. "Is it stressful? Fun? Frustrating? Enjoyable?" Their answer will give you insight into the environment you've created.)

    Ten years ago today was @PhoenixMercury media day and my first day of work in Phoenix. It was five days before Championship Saturday, the season opener and ring ceremony. Talk about thrown into the fire! Thank you @MoheganMaven for opening the door. 🙏🏼
