- Sad news re death of Limerick legend Brian O’Brien, Shannon hero, synonymous with turnaround of Irl team in 2000 when he took over as manager. Always great company Briano was a big physical man, as quick to drop the shoulder as shake your hand. He’ll be sadly missed by many. RIP
