- MAKE 50 shots for 300 days = 15,000 makes MAKE 100 shots for 300 days = 30,000 makes MAKE 200 shots for 300 days = 60,000 makes A High School player can make 50 shots with 1 ball and 1 rebounder in 5 minutes The future that you want to create is truly in your hands #getbetter
- High school coaches don’t coach for the money. The money they make compared to the hours they spend coaching is pennies. HS coaches love coaching and want to make an impact. Parents do your best to let them coach your child, and you focus on being a parent. #getbetter🏀

- If in HS my parents told me we had a vacation but I was going to miss practice and/or games, it would be real simple: I’m not going! I love hoops more then vacation. So when kids tell me they are going to miss because of vacation, excuse me for not understanding #getBETTER
- Parents : if you do the following you are hurting your kid and their team, 1. Coaching from the stands 2. Yelling at the refs 3. Taking your own stats in the stands Parents, you have 2 jobs: 1. Hug your kid after every game no matter what 2. Cheer on the team #getBETTER
- Heading into June Ben had 0 D1 offers. 6 weeks later he has 15. He has been committed to the work for years and his parents trusted the process. Stop focusing on offers when you are young and just focus on GETTING BETTER! If you are good enough, they will find you. #getbetter
- Being signed by Adidas is a program accomplishment. This process took over 12 yrs and it is due to the work put in by all our players (past/present), our coaches, behind the scenes team, and all the parents who have believed in us. Thank you to everyone involved!
- Maybe I’m old school but I love watching players who after they score/make a nice play they high five, point at their teammate, and sprint back on D. I also love parents who cheer for the TEAM not just when their child does something well. WE over ME
- Last night at Breakaway we took Mr Dunlap’s lead and started sharing Beth’s story and doing our 18 for #18. Later that night we heard the very sad news. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Dunlap family and all her friends. @DGNVolleyball @dgnathletics
